Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers and architects to design scalable APIs
- Build reusable, testable API endpoints and microservices using .NET
- Integrate diverse systems by leveraging API gateways and message queues
- Load test APIs and implement optimizations to handle heavy workloads
- Foster a culture of security and compliance when developing APIs
- Mentor junior developers on best practices for API development

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 2-3+ years of .NET API development experience or any other programming languages such as Python, Java, PHP
- Proven expertise in developing complex REST APIs at scale
- Strong grasp of multithreading, asynchronous coding, and WebSockets
- Experience profiling, debugging, improving API performance
- Passion for API design and learning best practices
- Careful attention to detail with good communication skills

Nice to Have:

- Expert-level knowledge of ASP.NET Web API design patterns
- Experience developing extremely high-volume, low-latency APIs
- Passion for keeping up-to-date with the latest .NET technologies
- Proven track record delivering reliable, scalable API solutions
- Deep understanding of CQRS, DDD, and microservices architectures
- Fluency in C#, .NET Core, REST best practices
- MariaDB, EventStore, and other relational databases
